Great House, Fabulous Concierge Team! 6 Adults Stay For A Week In April 2019
We loved our stay at Casa Alta Vista in Manuel Antonio! We were a party of three couples, no kids, who had the pleasure of renting out the house in April 2019. Shiona’s assistance with planning everything was invaluable; from transportation at the airport, excursions, to expectations after arriving, everything was excellent. Shiona went on holiday and handed things off to Camilo, who was the first coordinator we met in person. What a great presence he was for our vacation! Anything needed he took care of with friendly professionalism. Camilo had plans for his own holiday, so Sabrina stepped in and continued with the excellent customer service. The first class concierge team definitely exceeded our expectations.
The house was amazing, just what we needed. For six of us, we were more than comfortable with the amount of space provided. The scenery is so relaxing that sitting by the pool was a joy, we spent hours outside enjoying the beautiful property. Water pressure and balancing the water temperature in some of the rooms presented a slight challenge but it wasn’t anything major. The kitchen was well stocked and we had no need to call for any maintenance the entire week. Casa Alta Vista is part of a gated group of three houses; one where the owner lives and he rents out the other two as vacation homes. There is plenty of privacy. The maid service was excellent, efficient, prompt and never obtrusive while we were there. The cleaning service really added to the relaxation of our vacation.
Something fun, very fun…. the owner has two cute Pugs, Romeo and Juliet. They were an unexpected treat for all of us! They greeted us when we arrived with such a friendly joy, we could tell they are lovers of people. They are well trained, we were there a week and never saw either one with bad manners, lovely to have around.
The Rainmaker Night Tour, the Catamaran Tour, the Vacation Buggy Waterfall & Jungle Tour and the Spice Farm tour were all worth the money. Plenty of authentic cuisine enhanced the excursions and left us all with a great love of the food in Costa Rica.The guides were extremely knowledgeable with outgoing personalities. We had two meals prepared by Chef Alejandro, which Shiona and Camilo arranged for us. After a long day of traveling, lunch with Chef Alejandro was amazing! Chef Alejandro also prepared a beautiful dinner for us, I highly recommend him for your visit. It was a fantastic trip, I highly recommend Casa Alta Vista!
